Hello! I'm Dan (Daniel J.) Donovan
As AMEG’s Director of Safety & Maintenance, I lead with a hands-on, prevention-first mindset, building safety programs that actually work in the field, not just on paper. With 25 years managing military and civilian Safety & Health programs and 15 years in safety and occupational health consulting, I bring deep operational credibility and a practical approach to risk reduction, readiness, and reliability, especially in remote locations and harsh conditions.
I am an OSHA and Cal-OSHA certified trainer (courses #500 through #7845) and hold an M.S. in Occupational Safety Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I also completed the FAA Accident Investigation Course, strengthening his foundation in incident learning, root-cause thinking, and continuous improvement.
